Local Bookstore Debut!

Waucoma Bookstore asked me to come in and sign my book today! (Cue giddy happy dance!) It was so odd to take a book off the display, write in it, and then put it back on the shelf with the approval of the store. ๐Ÿ˜ฎ I almost expected the clerk to glare and say: “You wrote in it, you bought it.” But she smiled and put a sticker on the front that said it had been signed by the author. It was surreal and delightful. Now I just want to go back and look at it…lots.ย  How many times do you think I can stop by to “visit” my book before it gets weird? One? Luckily I took a picture. ๐Ÿ˜€

Great Summer Reads

Some of you may have multi-task-itis as I do. It means that I essentially must always be doing at least two things at once or I feel guilty, especially fun things like reading. But summer is that beautiful time when I can snuggle into a hammock with a book and say I’m “working on my tan” or “watering the yard” while I deliciously read IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY! ๐Ÿ˜€ In preparation, I make sure I have copious piles of books (physical & digital) to tackle while the sun shines. In case you haven’t made your pile yet, I have a few suggestions: Dark Energy by Robison Wells, Pimpernel by Sheralyn Pratt, Slayers by C.J. Hill, The Dragon’s Price by Bethany Wiggins, Blue Screen by Dan Wells, and, of course, Elissa Blue by T.K. Perry (how could I resist?). If you want more suggestions, check out my reviews on Goodreads: https://www.goodreads.com/author/show/16339234.T_K_Perry. Happy guilt-free reading! ๐Ÿ˜Ž
