Sometimes discouragement gets the better of you as a writer, but today is a good day. The local book store and arts center requested a picture of my book cover and me to start advertising their Literary Festival/book signing, I have new reviews on Amazon and Goodreads, and the delightful Ash the Bookworm just designated Elissa Blue as the most beautiful book cover (https://ashthebookworm.wordpress.com/2017/08/13/beautiful-book-covers-tag/). 😀 This trifecta of good news comes at the perfect time as I’ve been feeling anxious about not having book two finished yet, and even had stress dreams last night about it. I thought summer was going to afford me multiple writing hours a day, but it just hasn’t happened. I need to start sleeping less (3 hours a night is plenty, right?) or invent time travel so I can still publish the second book in December. But I will not worry about that now, because today is a good day.

P.S. Forever thanks to Julie Jentzsch for this amazing cover. Your beautiful art gave me the courage to publish.
